Will Harrison
Will is the founder and principal consultant at Harrison & Co Claims Consulting.
Between 2007 and 2017, Will was Head of Insurance at DLA Piper Hong Kong and Head of Insurance and Corporate Risk for Asia at Minter Ellison.
Will has been recognised by Legal 500 and Chambers Asia as having Tier 1 leading expertise in all aspects of D&O and financial lines claims and has extensive experience in property and BI, credit and surety and political risk insurance.
Fouzia Zafar
Fouzia is an assistant consultant at Harrison & Co Claims Consulting.
Fouzia has a Bachelor of Civil Law from the University of Oxford and graduated with first class honours in law from the University of Hong Kong.
Fouzia trained with Will at DLA Piper Hong Kong from 2007 to 2010, and then transferred to the insurance and reinsurance team at DLA Piper London.
Fouzia has extensive experience in all aspects of financial lines, fidelity and asbestosis claims, and warranty and indemnity insurance.
This core team is also supported by a further two legal consultants who provide assistance where necessary.

We work in a highly flexible and client orientated way. If you want us to take over and manage a claim, we can do so. If you want some guidance on a specific coverage question, we can do that too – and anything in between.
We are well-known and respected by the key brokers (we already undertake a lot of work for the big brokers through Harrison & Co Legal Consulting) and can assist in managing difficult issues and discussions.
We are very accustomed to working remotely: video and telephone conferences, cloud-based secure document storage and sharing and, or course, email. All protected fully by AES-264 encryption (both for at rest documents and internet communications). This is how we have always operated and we do it very well. In better times, we also do the face-to-face thing in both Hong Kong and Singapore.
A better value proposition
Harrison & Co Claims Consulting does not maintain expensive office premises. It does not have large numbers of support staff on the payroll or have expensive senior management to fly across the world. As a result, our costs-base is significantly lower than a normal law firm. We pass these savings to our clients, resulting in estimated overall costs less than half that of a claims law firm.
There is no compromise on quality of personnel or the excellence of our service. We have just stripped out the unnecessary costs and passed these onto our clients.
